2021 August 17th LUNCH - Kat Galloway - “Oil and Gas ESG: Trends and Opportunities”

  • Barton Creek Country Club 8212 Barton Club Dr Austin, TX, 78735 United States (map)

Join us for a lunch IN PERSON at a NEW location (Barton Creek Country Club) for our guest speaker, Kat Galloway, to discuss trends and opportunities in oil & gas ESG.

With nearly twenty years of experience as an environmental consultant, Kat Galloway will discuss the basic principles of environmental sustainability in the oilfield. She will discuss some of the initiatives Bright Sky Environmental has supported with their oil and gas clients as the industry starts to move beyond tackling the “low-hanging fruit.” Emissions reductions, data-driven emissions management, plugging orphaned wells, flaring, and even Bitcoin mining are hot topics that present opportunities for Austin Women in Oil and Gas.
